Motivation & qualification

DI Dr. nat techn. Andreas Zitek, MSc (GIS) and European Master in GIScience, founder of the EcoScience Research Group (ERG), based on longtime experiences with restoration of river systems, focuses on a holistic and scientific assessment of ecological interrelations as a basis for a sustainable development of the human society.

The results of his work include 12 peer reviewed publications, 7 not peer reviewed journal contributions, 35 research reports and 58 written contributions to conferences, 2 chapters in collected volumes, 101 scientific presentations and 24 research projects. He Co-supervised 30 diploma theses and 2 BAK theses at BOKU Vienna so far (list see below).
